The date of her birth is March 29, 1985, in Roswell in New Mexico. Her birth title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican heritage, but is American as a national. Since she was a child she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina went to Goddard High School. In high school, she had won in the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She also had her volleyball skills acknowledged at the national scale. The first time she attended in the University of Texas. She won all of the competitions she participated in during her final years. During her college career she was awarded an award called the Conference USA Player of The Award and The UTEP Female Sport Athlete Award.
