April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July, began taking lessons on piano and guitar at age seven. She was interested in creating songs was sparked. When she was in seventh grade April started taking piano and guitar lessons. It sparked her interest to write songs. At the age of 14, April spent much time writing and honed her musicianship abilities. Soon after she began taking excursions to write with her father, who lived in NY and LA. The month also saw her include additional topics that were related to of her friends dealing with such things as bullying by peers and teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take" my Hand. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia, has built a large audience. As a woman born with no left hand, she is a major part of her. But it's not her entire story. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny her handicap. But it also doesn't make it a point to emphasize the issue. The message is? The message is that we are more than just our physical self. Our identities are multifaceted and encompass a variety of elements. Lockhart states in the video Lockhart via video "I don't think that should define me. It's not my intention to have an impact on disabilities because I've got many more things to contribute." This doesn't influence my day-to-day activities. I go about the same way as I always do and have found my own methods to adjust. But it's also a part of me so I think that it's crucial to speak about. Self-acceptance can be a marathon for a lifetime however Lockhart is a true inspiration in this regard. She has had periods where she felt insecure about the way she dressed and displayed her arms. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wishes and shares pictures on her Facebook page with pride. To her, self-love was always a lengthy journey. This is, however, typical for people that is prone to doubts. It's important to surround yourself with those who are able to see the person you are.
