Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on television. This role earned her an Emmy nomination in the Most Outstanding Supporting Actress category. In addition, she won two SAG Awards, both for outstanding performances by an ensemble comedy.
Her birthplace and childhood was within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother Anne who was a church performer. It instilled in her a passion for theater.
Fischer was a theater actress who was trained in her home country. The Off-Broadway show she starred in was the play Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.

She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends The Office. This autobiography is about their relationship and working together on The Office.
